Finance (No. 2) Bill

Proceeding contribution from Jacob Rees-Mogg (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 1 April 2014. It occurred during Debate on bills on Finance (No. 2) Bill.

Following the point made by my hon. Friend the Member for Cities of London and Westminster (Mark Field), does he recognise that an £800 million additional bank levy would reduce the ability of the banks to lend into the real economy by between £8 billion and £12 billion?
