Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport which local authorities have used the powers given to them in February 2011 to implement local bans on parking on pavements.

Answer

This information is not held centrally. The enforcement of parking on the footway (pavement) is the responsibility of local traffic authorities in areas that have civil parking enforcement powers and a matter for the police in areas that do not.
