Alas, I was not at the Pensions Minister’s meeting with the Financial Times. However, the hon. Gentleman has raised a question rather different from the one I asked; I had mentioned his description of the current triple lock as a triumph of rhetoric over reality. Most of my pensioner constituents would describe it as a triumph of financial reality for their pensions.
