To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 25 July 2023 to Question 194671 on Armed Forces: Recruitment, whether his Department is providing additional resources to help meet these recruitment targets.

Answer

Additional resources have been committed and there are currently a number of measures in place to support recruitment including additional funding for marketing, new creative adverts, revamped recruiting websites and targeted financial incentives. Tri-Service recruiting reform is a critical activity for Defence and, as such, will continue to be prioritised and resourced accordingly.
