Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to Defence in a Competitive Age, published in March 2021, how much funding has been allocated to developing a new Multi-Role Ocean Surveillance capability.

Answer

Procurement of the first of two vessels providing future Multi-Role Ocean Surveillance capability, RFA PROTEUS, has had £82 million of funding allocated to it.
