Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, with reference to the oral contribution of the Minister for Food, Farming and Fisheries in the debate on Farming on Dartmoor of 18 April 2023, Official Report, column 82WH, whether the independent review of the ecological condition of designated sites on Dartmoor will include an assessment of the recommendations made by Natural England on the necessary steps to deliver the Government’s commitment to protect 30 percent of land by 2030.

Answer

We are currently developing our plans for the independent review of the ecological condition of protected sites. We will announce further details of the review’s panel members and scope shortly.
