Question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, with reference to the oral contribution of the Minister for Crime and Policing on 7 February 2022, Official Report, column 280WH, if she will publish further information on the remit and role of the integrated policy co-ordination function; and how that function will be utilised in the policy area of the use in animals in science.

Answer

The Government is presently setting up an integrated policy and coordination function to provide policy leadership for the use of animals in science. The role and remit of the function will be published once it is fully established.
