Resolved that the Committee takes note of European Union Document No. 12046/11, relating to a draft Directive on energy efficiency and repealing Directives 2004/8/EC and 2006/32/EC; and supports the Government’s view in welcoming the overall level of ambition of the Directive, whilst rejecting unnecessary levels of prescription, and seeking full compatibility with key United Kingdom policies.
