Environmental Protection and Green Growth

My hon. Friend is prescient; I am about to come to that point. We have published the cross-government natural environment White Paper, the first in 20 years. It seeks to put the value of nature at the heart of our decision making in Government, local communities and businesses, properly valuing the economic and social benefits of a healthy natural environment while continuing to recognise nature's intrinsic value. It set out 92 commitments, and we published an update on progress earlier this month. This has made us a world leader in this field.
