63A: After Clause 6, insert the following new Clause—
““Prejudice-based bullying
(1) Any school to which this section applies shall collect and publish information on the extent of bullying related to any of the protected characteristics.
(2) The section applies to any maintained school, Academy within the meaning of the Academies Act 2010 and to such other schools as may be prescribed by regulations.
(3) For the purposes of this section—
(a) ““bullying”” includes negative behaviour directed at an individual or group which is intended to cause either physical, emotional or relational hurt or damage;
(b) ““the protected characteristics”” has the same meaning as in the Equality Act 2010.
(4) The Secretary of State shall prescribe what information is to be collected for the purposes of this section and how it shall be published.””
