The Economy

Proceeding contribution from Kelvin Hopkins (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 22 June 2011. It occurred during Opposition day on The Economy.
I hope the Chancellor will not describe me as a henchman. Writing yesterday, Lord Skidelsky said that taking £112 billion out of the economy in the next four years will be a massive fiscal contraction, and he described it as"““the royal road to stagnation, not recovery.””" What does the right hon. Gentleman have to say to Lord Skidelsky?
