Dog Control Bill [HL]

My Lords, under the present enforcement of dog legislation, there are a number of different bodies under different parts of the country. For example, in London there is a status dogs unit in the Metropolitan Police. That is not replicated in the same way anywhere else, so I do not think that you could say that one appropriate authority is taken on by a number of different organisations.
