Police Reform and Social Responsibility Bill

I apologise to the Home Secretary for intervening again, but this is an extremely important point. When the Minister for Policing and Criminal Justice explained the meaning of the term ““politically restricted,”” he said:"““You may not, for instance, be a member of a political party.””" It is not correct to say that someone cannot be a member of a political party when they are in a politically restricted post. Will the Home Secretary confirm that?
