40: After Clause 8, insert the following new Clause— ““Peer Review Committee0 (1) There will be a Committee of 5 suitably qualified persons, not being or having been members of the Office, to be known as the Peer Review Committee (the ““Committee””). (2) It will be the responsibility of the Committee to prepare an annual report on the accuracy of fiscal and economic forecasts prepared by the Office, including the appropriateness of the methods employed. (3) The Committee must— (a) publish the report, (b) lay it before Parliament, and (c) send a copy of it to the Treasury.””
