Daylight Saving Bill

Proceeding contribution from Albert Owen (Labour) in the House of Commons on Friday, 3 December 2010. It occurred during Debate on bills on Daylight Saving Bill.
I will not give way. I shall finish my speech now so that other people can have the opportunity to speak. I believe that the measures would increase our well-being. In the spirit of cross-party support here, I believe that we should look at the happiness agenda. I think that having a barbecue at 11.30 pm, using clean coal and perhaps serving some salad dishes in the summer would increase the well-being and happiness of people throughout the United Kingdom—
