Identity Documents Bill

Proceeding contribution from Lord Rosser (Labour) in the House of Lords on Monday, 1 November 2010. It occurred during Debate on bills and Committee proceeding on Identity Documents Bill.
I have a question in the light of what the Minister has said. If it were possible to produce something with which she agreed that achieved the objective to, as Amendment 1 said, "““remain valid as a travel document in Europe until their expiry date””," by the moving of data on to the passport database, is that something that she would agree to?
