Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill

When the Opposition expressed reservations about the rapidity with which the Government are pushing the Bill through, we were assured that a certain number of days on the Floor of the House would be given to the Committee stages to enable Members from all parties to express an opinion. The Minister is now saying that he is recommending opposition to every single amendment tabled by the official Opposition. Is this yet another example of openness and the new politics?
