Parliamentary Voting System and Constituencies Bill

I want to make some progress so that others can have their say later. Some hon. Members from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have also raised concerns about the likely impact in those nations of the cut in MP numbers. Of course I understand those anxieties, but our priority must be to ensure that a person's vote is of equal worth—wherever they live in the UK. If the current rules distort that, they surely need to change.
