May I just clarify how that relates to the paragraph 1.22 on page 15 of the admissions code? That states:"““Local authorities and the Schools Adjudicator, when making decisions over setting an admission number or admitting above them, should have regard to the presumption that proposals to expand successful and popular schools, except grammar schools, should be approved.””" It clearly states ““except grammar schools”” so how does that relate to what the hon. Gentleman has just said?
