I have to rely on what clause 13 says:""It is a defence for a person charged with a relevant bribery offence to prove that the person's conduct was necessary for—""(a) the proper exercise of any function of the Security Service, the Secret Intelligence Service or GCHQ"," or, secondly, that it was necessary in relation to""the armed forces when engaged on active service."" I think my hon. Friend was referring to the first of those limbs.
