I wish that I could give that assurance. Manifestos are mainly for internal consumption—[Interruption.] That is the reality that people do not seem to be willing to accept. Manifestos also lay out for the civil service the likely programme of a party. However, we must get away from these myths if we are to win back the trust of the public.
