Dairy Farming

Because of my hon. Friend's knowledge, I invite him to comment on two quick points. The other thing that dairy farming needs is agricultural shows. What more can be done? Will the Government support them, to ensure that we get the Royal Lancs show back? It is a great way of ensuring that the public understand farming, particularly dairy farming. My second query is about the spraying of nitrates and slurry. Should there be more flexibility to ensure that farmers have more time to do so?
