Crime and Security Bill

Proceeding contribution from Alan Johnson (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 18 January 2010. It occurred during Debate on bills on Crime and Security Bill.
No, I am not giving way again. [Interruption.] The peroration is over. This can hardly be called a peroration. Along with measures to curb antisocial behaviour and gang involvement among young people, and to cut police bureaucracy and grant greater protection to victims of domestic violence, the Bill will bring greater protection and peace of mind to the public and make our streets safer. I commend the Bill to the House.
