Kettering was chosen to be the UK representative in the international consultation on climate change issues ahead of Copenhagen. People were asked:""To what extent were you familiar with climate change and its consequences""
before taking part in the consultation? In reply, 58 per cent. of those from Kettering said that they knew some, 19 per cent. said that they knew little, and 19 per cent. said that they knew a lot.
