The hon. Gentleman's interpretation of what I said is not entirely accurate. What I want is a change in the equal pay legislation which is proportionate and requires companies that have been found guilty of discrimination to undergo a compulsory pay audit, which I believe will serve as a punishment for those who are found guilty and as a deterrent for those who may consider discrimination.
