Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Bill

Was the hon. Gentleman disturbed, as I was, by the contents of the letter of 29 April to the Public Bill Committee in response to his questions in Committee? In that letter, the Ministers say:""It would not be in anyone's interests were Ofqual not to be regulating in a way which recognised its potential to influence the success of Government policy"." It is hard to follow what that means, but it has a rather creeping sense that the Government aim to force Ofqual to stick to their political agenda.
