Business Rates and the Recession

Proceeding contribution from John Healey (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 25 March 2009. It occurred during Opposition day on Business Rates and the Recession.
The LABGI scheme—to use a rather ugly and awkward acronym—was a three-year scheme from the outset. The hon. Member for Bromley and Chislehurst is very misleading to the House when he says that the amount for the scheme has been slashed—[Interruption.]
