Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Bill [HL]

My Lords, I am grateful to have had this debate because it was important to have done so. I will be extremely grateful for the Minister’s clarification on this because it looks to me as if we may need three items in the Bill to clarify this. I hope that we will be allowed to come back to this at Third Reading in the light of what the Minister says. I think the Third Reading rules will allow us to do so, so we might be able to clarify both the points that have been raised. I thank the Minister for his honesty in admitting to not quite knowing the answer and look forward to receiving his letter. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 20 withdrawn.
