What I am really asking is this. Earlier today we had a long discussion about tax revenue customs responsibilities and general customs responsibilities. What I am interested in is whether the groups in subsection (2), new subsection (1A)(a), "““designated customs officials, and officials of the Secretary of State exercising customs functions””,"
are in the first category or the second category.
