Amendment 8 8: Clause 1, page 2, line 3, at end insert— ““( ) The information provided under subsection (2) may include contact details and other relevant information about registered political parties which sponsor candidates for election to the principal local authority and to other local authorities that include all or part of its area. ( ) The prohibition of political publicity in section 2 of the Local Government Act 1986 (c. 10) (prohibition of political publicity) does not apply to information on political parties provided by a principal local authority for the purposes of this section.””
