But I—or, rather, the courts—have already suggested that we are obliged to ensure that the review and monitoring of the prospects for prosecution are constantly kept under review. That is already an obligation imposed by the courts. It is the specifics of the certification by the DPP that troubles me in relation to the interface between resources, other prosecutions that may be germane and the very real risks relating to public protection.
