Private Equity (Transfer of Undertakings and Protection of Employment) Bill

My hon. Friend makes a good point. My understanding is exactly the same as his. No doubt the Minister will be able to shed some light on that issue. My hon. Friend also makes the valid point—my hon. Friend the Member for Ribble Valley touched on it as well—that we are slightly in the dark on this matter. I am well aware that the hon. Member for Nottingham, East has some explanatory notes, but like my hon. Friend the Member for Christchurch (Mr. Chope), I have not had access to them. On some matters, I might therefore seek clarification that has been provided in the explanatory notes, but which I would not be aware of.
