Dormant Bank and Building Society Accounts Bill [HL]

I thank noble Lords who have spoken. My rather modest amendment seemed to spark more of a debate than I had imagined. I thank the Minister for the information that he gave us, which seems to have been an aperitif to wanting rather more than telling us something that people would like to know. I thank the noble Lords, Lord Shutt and Lord Skelmersdale, for raising interesting points. It is a pity that we did not get more response, but I hope that the Minister might put his mind to them and perhaps find an opportunity to consider and do something about them. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
