moved Amendment No. 18: 18: Schedule 1, page 55, line 24, at end insert— ““(1A) The Assembly may arrange under section 54(1)(b) of this Act for its function under paragraph 6(1) above of deciding whether to hold a confirmation hearing to be discharged on its behalf by the Chair of the Assembly.”” On Question, amendment agreed to.
