Sustainable Communities Bill

I am outraged to hear that, and I will take up the cudgels on that matter if the hon. Gentleman wants me to. My intention in amendments Nos. 39 and 40 is to avoid confusion. The local government White Paper refers to national indicators, and the targets in the new comprehensive area assessment will be referred to as indicators. I am trying to avoid confusion in the public mind—that is my only intent—but I take the hon. Gentleman’s point.
