Welfare Reform Bill

Proceeding contribution from Lord Skelmersdale (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 19 March 2007. It occurred during Debate on bills on Welfare Reform Bill.
My Lords, seldom has a probe been quite so successful. That will satisfy my correspondent no end, especially the Minister’s remarks about what would and would not affect the claiming of carer’s allowance and the changes that this would make to it. I hope that that will be sufficient. I have pleasure in withdrawing the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendments Nos. 38 and 39 not moved.]
