Justice and Security (Northern Ireland) Bill

We will discuss what the Minister said with the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission and we will establish whether it is satisfied with the answer he gave. There may be circumstances that we cannot entirely envisage where it would be necessary for it to pursue investigations of matters that had been thoroughly looked into by someone else. If we cannot identify those at the moment, the best thing we can do is have a word with the NIHRC, and we will come back to the Minister if necessary. Meanwhile, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendment No. 21 not moved.]
