Welfare Reform Bill

Perhaps I may speak very briefly to Amendment No. 93. I am extremely tempted to say ““no””, for the reasons that I gave on the group of amendments in which we discussed the government amendment. Of course if I did say ““no”” it would not stand part of the Bill at the end of this Committee stage. On mature consideration—at least I hope it was mature—I have decided that I will not do that, but I put the noble Lord on notice that if in my consideration after the Committee stage as a whole I come to the conclusion that this amendment needs to be re-amended, that is exactly what I shall seek to do on Report.
