Member for Carshalton and Wallington quoted a number of people in support of his commentary. I would also like to quote somebody in support of his speech—Mayor Livingstone. When the assembly voted down the Mayor’s budget this year by 16 votes to nine, the Mayor enjoyed shouting out each time, ““Carried!”” Of course it was carried.
