Human Rights

Proceeding contribution from Simon Hughes (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Monday, 19 February 2007. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Human Rights.

Gentleman how the system he envisages will protect an individual when both Houses of Parliament pass legislation that allows somebody to be detained indefinitely in prison without charge and without trial when they have no remedy because Parliament says that they should have no rights.
