Hertfordshire Housing Target

Proceeding contribution from Mark Prisk (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 30 January 2007. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Hertfordshire Housing Target.
Is the hon. Gentleman aware that housing plans at the moment suggest that in our region houses would be built for 17,000 more people than there are jobs for; in other words that there is an assumption that people will commute out of the area?
