With this it will be convenient to discuss new clause 4—Commencement and duration— ‘(1) Section 1 shall come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may by order appoint. (2) No information may be disclosed under section 1 after the end of the initial period. (3) In this section ““the initial period””, means the period of ten years beginning with the day on which section 1 comes into force.’.
