Police and Justice Bill

My Lords, clerks of police authorities up and down the land are cheering and celebrating the Government’s acceptance of the amendment we tabled in Committee, albeit in their own inimitable legalise, and now they are all chief executives. I very much thank the Government for making them so, and warmly welcome the amendment. On Question, amendment agreed to.
