While it always gives me great pleasure to provoke hurrahs from Labour Back Benchers, I am aware that my response does not necessarily spread sweetness and light in North Shropshire. I assure the hon. Member for North Shropshire that I understand the seriousness of his concerns about the way in which major infrastructure developments, affecting many people, could be delayed, or put off altogether, by this situation.
