I have discussed that very matter with the Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee. The PAC has responsibility for ensuring that money spent by the Department for International Development—which falls squarely into the transparency provisions in clause 6—is properly spent. I have also had discussions with the National Audit Office on the matters about which I am specifically concerned, and about the mechanics of dealing with corruption in the context of the Public Accounts Committee. This is directly related to clause 6—
