International Development (Reporting and Transparency) Bill

Does my hon. Friend agree that it is incredibly important that that aspect is included in the Bill? Some of the greatest white elephants in many countries in the third world are projects that were funded by the European Union, which a considerable amount of our taxpayers’ money has been involved in generating. It is therefore incredibly important that those white elephants are highlighted to make sure that the problem does not reoccur.
