Compensation Bill [Lords]

Proceeding contribution from Oliver Heald (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 8 June 2006. It occurred during Debate on bills on Compensation Bill (HL).
The firm of solicitors involved in the case was Raleys, and the NUM apparently took £10 million out of the compensation awarded to miners. How can that possibly mean that unions should not be regulated?
