I, too, welcome the changes to the financial assistance scheme. Workers in my constituency at the Richardson’s IFI plant have been treated shabbily and are devastated; I hope that these changes will help to improve the situation. Is the decision to uprate the pension credit in line with earnings from 2008 subject to an affordability test?
