Pensions Reform

Proceeding contribution from Charles Walker (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 25 May 2006. It occurred during Ministerial statement on Pensions Reform.
I welcome much of what the Secretary of State has said. He is aware that many people with quite small pensions are still paying income tax. Has he considered raising the threshold at which pensioners start to pay income tax?
