As I said earlier, home visits and community development ensure that there is proper early detection of problems. If it is deemed that they require an eye test, they are eligible to have an eye test. We also believe that for children whose eyes are still developing, a sight test may not be exactly what is needed—rather, there should be vision screening by an orthoptist. An orthoptist?
